'How To Create A Vortex Text'

What's a vortex text? It's a text message
that comes out spiralling as if coming
from a vortex.

You may want to put something like this in
your page to spice it up.

Do you like to have this "vortex text" in your webpage?
Here's how to do it:

1. Download this file into your computer.
http://www.resource-a-day.net/resources/vortex/portal.zip

2. Unzip and extract the following from the zip file you've downloaded:
Portal.jar
portal.txt

3. Copy and paste the html code below on your page html source.
Be sure to save the Portal.jar, portal.txt and your page html in the same directory.
This goes true also when uploading your page to your server.
The Portal.jar, portal.txt and your page html must be on the same directory.
You can place the code anywhere in your page html source.

4. Edit portal.txt to show what text you wish to be displayed on the vortex.
5. You can change the following to your specifications:

a. Height and width of the applet code;
b. A HREF and target
c. fontsize, fontcolor, background, shadow color, etc.. (do this at portal.txt).
